Virgin Mobile Wants You to Stop Freeloading on the Family Plan

by Sean P. Aune | May 7, 2013May 7, 2013 5:00 am PDT

At some point the momma bird will kick the hatchlings out of the nest to make it in the world on their own, isn’t it about time you did the same with your family’s group mobile plan?

Virgin Mobile released a new video starring Susie Essman from Curb Your Enthusiasm just in time for Mother’s Day to tout its new initiative to get more people to leave family plans and come over to its unlimited plans. With plans starting at just $35 a month, there’s a solution for just about every budget out there, and your momma will be so proud that you finally stopped freeloading off of the family and showed some independence.

Sure it’s always nice to not have to take some bills on yourself, but there comes a point where everyone needs some freedom, and wouldn’t you rather not have to constantly discuss with your family how you’re taking up the lion’s share of the data, minutes and texting on the plan? Then it may finally be time to “make momma proud!”

On Tuesday, May 7, Virgin Mobile will also be hosting a one-day flash sale on www.virginmobileusa.com to help you make the leap to its service.
