The recently launched Kickstarter for Stonehearth, a village building tactical strategy game, has just crossed its fiscal goal. The Radiant Games team requested $120,000 to get their game made. In just three days time, they’ve exceeded that goal.
At the time of drafting this post, Stonehearth has earned $145,752. That total is still climbing.
The gameplay video at the head of this post was actually tossed up on Radiant’s official site for Stonehearth in November of 2012. It’s nothing but an early alpha proof-of-concept, so don’t put too much stock in it as representative of the final product. That’s not even been made yet.
Finally, if Stonehearth‘s Kickstarter fund hits $200,000, Radiant Games will develop both a Mac and Linux port. Good news for owners of those platforms.
