We just crossed into May and Motorola hasn’t announced a single flagship device, though Google’s confidence in the company’s lineup assures we’ll see some pretty great things. Still, what little information we’ve heard has made us restless—though enough to keep us interested—but today @evleaks unveiled pictures of what could very well be Motorola’s next big device. Is it the fabled X Phone?
Possibly the very same device we saw leaked in March, the pictures show an unremarkable handset surrounded by what looks to be a case, perhaps to hide what it truly looks like. But otherwise we’re getting a small glimpse at the apps screen and a few different areas of Google Play—nothing you won’t find on any other Android handset. Notably, though, is that everything looks near-stock software-wise—there’s a myAT&T app (probably pre-installed).
There’s been so much speculation surrounding Motorola’s upcoming lineup, not to mention the possibility of a flagship X Phone made in tandem with Google. These pictures don’t reveal much, but it does remind us that Motorola is out there working on something. Unfortunately, we still don’t know when we’ll actually see something new, although Google I/O is quickly approaching.
