I love Google Keep on Android. I use it all of the time to take notes on books I need to read, songs friends recommend that I need to listen to and restaurants I need to remember to check out. It’s similar to Notes on iOS in that it syncs across multiple devices on the same platform and, now, Google made the service even sweeter.
Google Keep is now available as a plug-in for Chrome, not just as an extension of Google Drive. I just installed it in a matter of seconds and suddenly all of my notes popped up in a separate window inside my browser. There are check boxes I can cross off if I happen to complete one of the tasks I’ve saved for myself, or I can add new notes directly from the app. They populate immediately and I can quickly see them on my Android tablet or smartphone.
The plug-in is free and is available from the Chrome Web Store now.
