New iPhone Commercial is All About the Camera

Apple recently aired a new commercial for the iPhone titled “Photos Every Day” and it puts a strict focus on the device’s camera. Is it in response to the 13-megapixel shooter on the Galaxy S4 and the Ultrapixel camera on the HTC One? Maybe.

The commercial plays towards our sentimentality of taking pictures and remembering events in life regardless of size. Everything from the coffee you had for breakfast to a gorgeous trip to beautiful Mt. Fuji. Then it sends that sentimentality into overdrive with smooth editing and a nice little piano solo. How sweet.

The end boldly states that “every day, more photos are taken with the iPhone than any other camera.” Flickr keeps a constant record on its website which consistently agrees with that statement.

Expect Apple to be hyping up its camera functions a lot in the next few months. It is currently rumored to be inserting a 12-megapixel camera in the upcoming iPhone 5S, and it obviously wants the world’s focus left on the iPhone.
