Pre-Oder Fez Today for 10% Off on Steam and GOG

The wait is almost over! Indie darling Fez is on the verge of breaking free from the chains of XBLA and is now available for pre-order on other digital distribution sites. The game will launch on May 1st, and ordering it before then will land you a 10% discount, bringing the price down to $8.99.

Fez recently completed its first year of availability on Xbox LIVE Arcade, where it sold about 200,000 copies. The platforming puzzle game received widespread acclaim when it was released, and PC owners have been waiting for quite some time to get a hold of it.

Creator Phil Fish also stated that a Mac version is in the works, but no release date has been announced.

Check out Fez on GOG and Steam to see what all the hype is about. The 10% discount will save you a dollar, but since PC gamers have already waited more than five years since the game was first announced, holding out for a bigger discount during one of Steam’s holiday sales shouldn’t be too much of a problem either.
