Deadly Premonition will finally make its way to the PlayStation 3 in North America. The game initially launched in Japan on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but the rest of the world only saw it on the Xbox 360.

The Director’s Cut is now bound for the PlayStation 3 in North America and Europe, and its release is only days away. The European region will see Deadly Premonition – The Director’s Cut on the PlayStation 3 starting April 26th, 2013, and the North American region will see it on April 30th. This title will be available in both physical and digital forms from day one.

The launch trailer you see above was posted on the PlayStation Blog along with a few words from Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro, the game’s Writer and Director. He clearly loves this project:

“…Deadly Premonition is my hobby, my business, my study, and my motivation in life – it’s an all-encompassing journey and adventure.”

When Deadly Premonition launched in 2010, it established a strong cult following. It’s not the greatest game in the world when it comes to mechanics and characters, but fans love it all the same. Hopefully this Directors Cut will be cherished even more.
