Amazon’s Kindle Fire lineup is now compatible with Microsoft’s clever SmartGlass app, Xbox spokesman Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb said on Monday. The app, which is available for the most recent Fire and Fire HD devices, gives users the flexibility to interact with the Xbox 360 through Amazon’s tablets, including playing, pausing, rewinding and stoping videos and music. You can also more easily track and compare achievement with friends. The app itself requires Android 4.0 and above, so older Fires are being left behind. You can get the app now in Amazon’s Appstore.
