Bethesda’s Next Game is The Horrifying “The Evil Within”

Bethesda’s brand new game has been revealed. The Evil Within is an upcoming survival horror title. All of the teasing that started at the onset of this week has finally come to its conclusion. A lot of the Internet guessed correctly: this is Shinji Mikami’s Project Zwei.

IGN landed the exclusive reveal, so you can pop over there to get a few extra tidbits regarding The Evil Within and Shijni Mikami’s vision. They will have a few days of exclusive information.

The Evil Within is currently slated to launch for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and, according to the release, next generation consoles in 2014.

We’ll have more on this game as it comes, including the eventual gameplay reveal. For now, it looks terrifying.

BETHESDA SOFTWORKS ANNOUNCES THE EVIL WITHIN

New Survival Horror Game from Master of the Genre

April 19, 2013 (London, UK) – Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, today announced the planned release of The Evil Within™, a survival horror game developed at Tango Gameworks™ under the direction of renowned game designer and studio head, Shinji Mikami. Best known as the father of the survival horror genre and creator of the Resident Evil series, Mikami is a 20-year veteran of the industry who has developed numerous award-winning titles.
