Samsung has reportedly pushed the launch of the Galaxy S4 mini back by 8 weeks. The news was revealed by SamMobile on Friday, which said Samsung’s original goal was to release the phone during the 21st week of the year. The 29th week, the new scheduled release, pegs the launch during the month of July.
Samsung confirmed the existence of the Galaxy S4 in an interview with Bloomberg earlier this month but has so far not revealed the full specs for the device or where it will launch. At the time other rumors suggested the launch was imminent, although an announcement never crossed the newswire.
The Galaxy S4 mini will likely offer lower-end specs than the Galaxy S4 and in a smaller body, at least if Samsung’s Galaxy S III mini (pictured above) is any indication.
