Nokia’s about to take the smartphone world by storm if all of the recent rumors are true. The company apparently has plans to launch a quad-core device with a 41-megapixel camera sensor on AT&T, the Lumia 928 with a xenon flash on Verizon and is also working on a separate aluminum Windows Phone, according to dozens of fresh rumors. That’s not all, though.
The Financial Times said Thursday that Nokia is also building a Windows Phone under the Lumia brand with a 5-inch screen, which would be the first phablet-style device from Nokia to take on the behemoths from competitors Samsung, LG, ZTE and others.
There isn’t any other information on the device, other than its screen size, so we’re not working with much here. We imagine such a device will be a flagship of sorts, so we hope Nokia goes all-in with an aluminum body, a killer camera sensor and more.
