Over the last several days, Bethesda, the studio behind titles like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, have been rolling out teasers on Vine. Each clip has been more and more obscure, and they all seem to point towards a brand new game.
Well, that new game is going to be revealed tomorrow on IGN. We still don’t know what it is, but we’ve decided to collect the teasers in one place for your perusal.
With the first teaser, I immediately figured this was going to be something in the Fallout series. Bach’s music was all over Fallout 3, and one of the records playing in the original Vine teaser was Bach’s “Air on the G String.” Turns out I was flat wrong. Here’s the clip:
Why was my theory debunked? Folks on Twitter were screaming the same Fallout 4 idea. Bethesda’s Pete Hines responded with “guess again.
We ran an article for the second teaser earlier this morning. This time we had sunflowers, a fire and a creepy man in the background.
Finally, here’s the latest teaser. We’ve got a building, the night sky and some creepy dudes leering into frame.
If I were to toss a guess out right now, I’d say these videos are pointing towards Zwei, the upcoming horror game being worked on by Shinji Mikami, the mastermind behind Resident Evil. What do you think?
Could it be DOOM, Wolfenstein or something else entirely?
