Twitter’s rumored standalone music app is expected to launch sometime today—or this weekend at Coachella. Hey, what clever timing. According to AllThingsD’s sources, following Twitter’s capture of We Are Hunted, the app will be designed to suggest artists and tracks based on “personalized signals,” such as who a user follows. So, obviously, if you follow Justin Bieber, you’re likely to get Bieber-related recommendations. From inside the app, users will be able to listen to clips through iTunes and SoundCloud, and also watch music videos provided by Vevo, AllThingsD said. A rumor from last month suggested the app would launch for iOS first, and employ a four tab design. Keep your eyes peeled. It’s Friday, Friday.
