Bethesda and Arkane Studios have released a brand new gameplay trailer for “The Knife of Dunwall,” the first DLC for Dishonored.

In “The Knife of Dunwall,” players fill the role of one of Corvo’s chief opponents throughout Dishonored‘s original tale, Daud. At the onset of that game, players see Daud assassinate the Empress from Corvo’s perspective. “The Knife of Dunwall” is all about players exploring Daud six months after that point in his story.

I had a chance to check out the DLC briefly at PAX East earlier this year. It plays like the original Dishonored, though Daud’s powers are just a little different from Corvo’s. Beyond that, you’ll probably feel right at home if you liked the pure campaign in Dishonored. The rep from Bethesda also indicated that the DLC should take around six hours to complete.

“The Knife of Dunwall” will be available on April 16th for $9.99 on the PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
