The Optimus G Pro, which we first saw during Mobile World Congress and recently unboxed, will reportedly launch on AT&T with May 10th currently being floated around as the launch date. Carriers often move dates around at the last moment, however, so that date is not yet solidified.

AndroidCentral recently learned the news and said that AT&T will keep the same 5.5-inch screen on the original device. A smaller 5-inch version launched in Japan and there was speculation that model would filter its way down to other markets, including the U.S. AndroidCentral said it was not able to confirm if Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon or any of the smaller carriers in the United States will also offer the phone. The Optimus G, however, launched on Sprint and AT&T.
