Instagram for Android launched a year ago today and, to mark the anniversary, the company revealed new details about its Android usage statistics. Instagram said that its Android application was downloaded more than 1 million times in just a single day, not an easy feat, and that half of its entire user base accesses the social network from an Android powered device. Last month the company also announced that it now has more than 100 million active users per month.
