Delta Providing Free Wi-Fi to BlackBerry Users in U.S.

BlackBerry and Delta have struck a deal to help promote the BlackBerry Z10 by providing free in-flight Wi-Fi to BlackBerry users. The promotion was recently spotted by CrackBerry and only applies to flights inside of the United States.

Delta’s in-flight entertainment system, which simply states: “BlackBerry users can enjoy free Wi-Fi on all domestic Delta flights,” so it sounds like BlackBerry owners don’t have to jump through any hoops: simply connect to the Wi-Fi network and get going. The airline didn’t say when the promotion will end, if ever.

The promotion may not necessarily be a reason to buy a new BlackBerry, but it’s certainly a perk for frequent Delta flyers who own BlackBerry smartphones.
