AT&T’s 16GB Galaxy S4 Will Cost $199, 32GB Costs $249

Well this is refreshing news. AT&T said on Wednesday that the $249 price it originally named for the Galaxy S4 for the model with 32GB of storage. The carrier will also sell a 16GB model for $199.99 with a new two-year contract.

The pricing is on a par with AT&T’s typical pricing for the Galaxy S devices, and we originally felt like Samsung was nickel and diming us into coughing up an additional $50 for the device. The news is certainly good for consumers, but it’s definitely going to turn up the heat on the HTC One, which originally appeared to be priced $50 less than the Galaxy S4.

AT&T will begin taking pre-orders for the S4 on April 16.
