Samsung hasn’t yet announced that it will release a smaller version of the Galaxy S4. However, the company has done so in the past with the Galaxy S III mini. It’s certainly plausible that a smaller version, to cater those who prefer smaller screens, will launch at some point. We’ve even seen leaked photos of the device. Bloomberg Businessweek recently profiled Samsung and, in the article, confirmed the existence of the Galaxy S4 mini.
“The Galaxy S 4 doesn’t come out until late April,” Bloomberg Businessweek said. “It’s fast, has a big, bright screen, and will probably be another huge hit for Samsung, as will the S 4 mini that will go on sale soon after.” The outlet didn’t name its sources, but the entire article covers several interviews with Samsung executives and profiles life working for the tech giant in South Korea.
We’re still short on specs, but we do know the Galaxy S III mini was basically a watered down version of its bigger brother. We imagine the Galaxy S4 mini will follow suit.
