AT&T announced that Android Jelly Bean is now available for the Samsung Galaxy Express. Jelly Bean is our favorite release of Android yet and offers Google Now, improved Google Search with voice support, a brand new actionable notification shade and, best of all, enhancements to the speed and performance of the entire system. As AT&T notes, Jelly Bean also includes a monitor that lets users keep track of monthly data consumption.

AT&T will issue notifications as to when the software is available, but the update can be applied manually by visiting Settings > About Device > Software Update > Check for Updates. As usual, we recommend that you backup your phone before applying a patch.
