The Google Chromebook Pixel is a beautiful device, even if it does clock in at a relatively expensive $1,449 at the high end. Unfortunately, until today, we weren’t sure when the model with Verizon 4G LTE was going to ship from Google. Now we know.

Google recently updated its product page with information noting that the laptop will ship “by April 8.” If you can stand living without 4G LTE connectivity, you can grab the Wi-Fi-only version of the Chromebook Pixel for a cheaper $1,299 and receive it within 3-5 business days.

We recently reviewed the Chromebook Pixel and came away impressed with the device, even if it may be better fit for the wealthy developer crowd at this point. As a quick refresher it packs a 12.85-inch screen with a super sharp 2560 x 1700-pixel resolution, 4GB of RAM, a dual-core 1.8GHz processor and more.
