Samsung Galaxy Note II - Huge - Godzilla

The world is still waiting for Samsung’s Galaxy S4 to begin shipping, but technology moves fast enough that we’re always looking toward the next big thing. A new rumor surfaced from Asiae on Monday that suggests the Galaxy Note III will launch in September with an “unbreakable” display. The screen, which may measure up to 6.3-inches in size, is reportedly the first to feature Samsung’s new flexible display technology.

The Note III is going to be a rather large phablet, so when the term “flexible” is used it’s because the screen itself will be resistant to strains and shock. It doesn’t mean, so far as we can tell, that the phone will be flexible in nature.

September falls right around the annual IFA trade show in Berlin, Germany, where Samsung has made mobile announcements in the past, so it’s plausible we’ll see it on the market this fall.
