After facing a potentially huge security issue, Apple has seemingly fixed the problem and brought its iForgot page back online. iMore and a few other reports say the exploit is no longer active, meaning your Apple ID is safe at the moment. Hopefully no my glaring problems pop up.

Following multiple reports about the possibility of compromised Apple IDs, the Cupertino yanked the iForgot page in an attempt to mitigate the problem before it spread; the issue, if you haven’t been following, allowed someone to change another user’s Apple ID by using only an email and date of birth. Apple recently rolled out two-step authentication to help fight against stolen accounts, so if you haven’t done so already, consider activating the new measure for extra protection.
