ZTE Quantum With 5-inch Display Headed to Sprint, Says Report

ZTE has an unannounced 5-inch device headed for Sprint called Quantum, according to a new report. Android Police received photos and a full spec list of the device: it’ll have a 720p screen (320 ppi), 13-megapixel camera and 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4, among other familiar specs.

Quantum looks and sounds like something that shuffles into the crowd and just blend in, nothing here really stands out. When it hits—a specific date wasn’t shared—it’ll come with Android 4.1.2, 2GB of RAM, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n dual-band and LTE support.

The design itself is pretty standard, with what appears to be a pretty unassuming plastic body. There’s a camera hump on the back, 3.5mm headphone jack on top next to the power button, camera button on the side, and volume rocker and microUSB connection.

Seeing as the specs and design are mostly competitive with the Android landscape at large—not necessarily the tiptop of the line, but still commendable—we’d expect this one to be fairly cheap on-contract, perhaps around the $99 range. We’ll be on the look out for an official announcement, which we’d guess is just around the corner.
