Apple has reportedly added Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch to its fabled roster. Reports are still unconfirmed, but sources tell CNBC that Lynch, who led technology engineering at Adobe, is all but an Apple employee. Right now it’s unclear how his experience will fit under the Apple umbrella.
Once official word comes down we’d expect Apple to share what Lynch’s duties will be. Lynch has previously helped champion Creative Cloud, so perhaps he’ll contribute to Apple’s own cloud services. Right now, a document filed with SEC merely says Lynch is leaving Adobe “to pursue other opportunities.” We’ll find out what that means soon enough.
