We thought BlackBerry learned from its laughably bad music video from last year, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. Perhaps taking pointers from Global Creative Director Alicia Keys, the company has put out a song equivalent to a pat on the back, complete with awfully embarrassing BB10 lyrics and so-obvious-it-hurts lip-syncing. Maybe the company was feeling extra confident following its one million device order.
I guess you have to appreciate the company’s willingness to put it all out there; BlackBerry heads sure don’t mind embarrassing themselves for a little entertainment. And BlackBerry did deliver an admirable OS, even though it’s late to the game. But, please, BlackBerry, enough with the music video schtick. You want to attract developers, not scare them off.
