Samsung discussed a few of the accessories that will be available for the Galaxy S 4 during its press event last night, and now all of the official products have been published to the company’s website.
The accessories include an S Band for keeping track of calories, the distance you walk every day and how many steps you take. It’s basically just a wristband that connects with your phone and with S Health 2.0. The S View cover was on display last night, and it’s basically just a flip-cover for the phone with a small clear screen for viewing data on the screen and answering phone calls. The game pad, which we hadn’t heard of yet, hooks up to your Galaxy S 4 and provides several buttons and a complete gamepad experience. The phone will support wireless charging with a separate cover, and Samsung will sell a wireless charging pad, too. Samsung also announced several flip covers, protective covers and a leather sleeve, although we imagine we’ll see those from plenty of other case makers.
A few other accessories include a heart rate monitor, a body scale that works with S Health 2.0 and a spare battery kit.
