Twitter for Windows 8 Now Available

by Todd Haselton | March 14, 2013March 14, 2013 7:00 am PDT

Twitter recently launched an official application for Windows 8 devices that takes advantage of some of the new features inside the operating system, such as snap view and live tiles.

Snap view allows you to launch another application and run it on the same display directly next to Twitter. You can browse the web or check the weather in one application, for example, and watch your Twitter feed at the same time. Twitter said it’s also introducing a landscape view for photos, the ability to Tweet from any application at any time with a new “Share charm” option, and live tile/notification support.

The download is available now in 22 different languages.
