Apple Begins Offering Refurbished iPad Mini and Fourth Gen iPad

Want an iPad mini or a new fourth generation iPad with its beautiful Retina display? Also want to save a few bucks? Then we have good news — Apple on Thursday began selling refurbished models of both devices.

That means they’re still covered under a 1-year Apple warranty and are certified to be sold to consumers without any hit to the end experience. MacRumors added that the refurbished units should ship with a brand new outside shell that’s free of scuffs and scratches, as well as a fresh battery that hasn’t been drained several times before.

The downside? Apple isn’t offering every model of each iPad. Right now we see a refurbished Verizon iPad and a white iPad mini with 32GB of storage.
