The HTC One Developer Edition was recently unveiled. It’s the same general device that HTC is selling to consumers, but it’s shipping with an unlocked bootloader and an unlocked SIM slot.
The device sports the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, open APIs for the IR blaster on the power button and Bluetooth, as well as support for HSPA/WCDMA 850/1900/2100MHz, GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz and LTE 700/850/AWS/1900MHz networks.
The developer edition will only be available in limited quantities, HTC said and will only be launched to customers with a U.S. zip code. It’s priced at $649, which really isn’t too shabby considering all of the hardware you’re getting.
