HTC recently confirmed that there are HTC One shipment delays in parts of Europe. While we still don’t know when the phone will launch on U.S. carriers, it’s a setback for a company that desperately needs to compete with Samsung, especially since the Galaxy S IV announcement is expected later this week.

“We will start fulfilling pre-orders by end March in certain markets and will roll out to more markets as we approach April,” the company said in a statement to TechnoBuffalo. The device is still shipping in Germany, however, HTC said. The company didn’t clarify where the phone is delayed, although we believe it’s in parts of Europe.

HTC did not clarify on a specific date or what’s causing the shipment delay, but we hope to update you soon.
