Assassin’s Creed IV Introduces Two Trailers, Shows Off Screenshots

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is now, officially, 100% a real thing that’s set to launch this coming fall. Today, Ubisoft announced the lead character of this entry in the franchise. They also launched two new trailers and a slew of screenshots.

See the world premiere trailer that leaked over the weekend at the head of this post. Below, you’ll find the trailer that is essentailly a moving series of screenshots centered around Edward Kenway, the new protagonist of this upcoming game.

Finally, gamers who buy¬†Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag on either the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 will be able to play an additional 60 minutes worth of content that’s exclusive to their systems. What that content is, exactly, has not been announced.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will launch for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U and PC platforms on October 29th, 2013. We expect it will sell for the currently unannounced next-gen system from Microsoft as well.
