HTC Says Sense 5 Will Come to Other Devices in the Coming Months

HTC Sense 5 won’t just be exclusive to the new One when it comes out in March. On HTC’s Facebook page last week, a company spokesperson confirmed Sense 5 will be available to other global handsets over the next few months, including: One X, One X+, One S and the Butterfly. The company specifically mentions global variants only, so it’s unclear if and when the new features will make it to devices like the DNA on Verizon.

HTC further goes on to say that some features won’t be available outside of the One itself, which likely means users won’t get to experience HTC Zoe. Plenty of responses to HTC’s admission ask the bigger questions—particularly about handsets in the U.S.—but the company doesn’t go into further detail about the imminent upgrade. We’ll keep an eye out as more information becomes available.
