We saw images of LG’s Optimus F5 and Optimus F7 handsets yesterday, but now the phones are official.
The Optimus F5 runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and is equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, a 4.3-inch IPS display, a 5-megapixel camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The Optimus L5 will launch in Europe during the second quarter, although pricing was not revealed.
The Optimus F7 is slightly more powerful and is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, a larger 4.7-inch IPS display, 8GB of expandable storage, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The F7 will launch soon after the Optimus L5 but only in select markets. Pricing was also not disclosed.
We imagine both phones will be on display during Mobile World Congress, which kicks off next week, so stay tuned for more information.
