Mobile World Congress kicks off early next week, and we’re already starting to get plenty of news on what to expect during the show. The latest rumor suggests Samsung may have a new entry-level smartphone in the works, currently dubbed the Galaxy Star GT-S5282. SamMobile¬†provided some information on what to expect from the device, which could end up hitting the market with the Galaxy Y moniker.

The phone will allegedly run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and will sport a 3-inch display, a 1,200mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0, 4GB of internal storage, GPS, a microSD card slot for adding up to 32GB of additional storage and a 2-megapixel camera. We’re guessing it will launch on carriers in emerging markets, but it’s possible the Galaxy Star will debut on prepaid carriers in the U.S., too.
