IMDb iOS App Now Integrated With Amazon Instant Video

Watching your favorite movies through your iPad and your iPhone just became a lot easier. The latest update for the IMDb Movies & TV App now allows for easier integration with Amazon’s Instant Video. All 25,000 some-odd films and TV Shows available through Amazon Prime are now a touch away from the Internet’s most comprehensive film and TV show database.

Amazon purchased the IMDb back in 2008, and since then it has gained a reputation as one of the best places to go for film facts. Dates, actors, directors and trivia, IMDB is a one-stop website for just about anything needed in the world of film. If you can’t remember the name of a film, but can remember the actors, IMDB is the place to go. And now, you can even watch the film just as soon as you remember the title.

Amazon Prime on the other hand is a flat-rate $79 a year program which rewards users with faster shipping speeds and no extra cost to access any film in the Amazon Instant Video. The two combined should be all you need for a fun Saturday night marathon.

An installed version of Amazon Instant Video is required for the integration to work.

Other additions to today’s updates include award information for all films and actors, including the 2012 Academy Awards which are right around the corner.
