Apple needs to launch iOS 6.1.2 soon. The current iOS 6.1 and iOS 6.1.1 versions of the operating system are currently riddled with bugs and power management issues.

A recent report detailed how to skirt the iOS 6.1 security system, and iOS 6.1.1 is apparently offering worse battery life than the version before it. Thankfully, the next version is set to launch within the next week.

According to iFun, which has a history of accurate release schedule reporting, Apple will launch the update before Feb. 21. Lending to the legitimacy of the report, Apple has also promised that a fix to the security update is on the way.
