Apple Fixing iOS 6.1 Security Flaw

Yesterday we covered a story that revealed Apple’s IOS 6.1 has a major security flaw in which hackers can access the system by bypassing the passcode screen. Now, Apple has confirmed that a fix is coming soon—hopefully in the same patch that fixes an exiting Exchange issue.

“Apple takes user security very seriously” an Apple spokesperson told AllThingsD on Thursday. “We are aware of this issue, and will deliver a fix in a future software update.”

We imagine Apple will push the update soon, especially since this is a pretty glaring problem.
