iWatch Concept Shows What Apple Could be Planning

What will Apple’s smart watch, currently dubbed the iWatch, look like? We have absolutely no idea, but thankfully there are plenty of artistic minds out there with drawing boards to give us an idea of what to expect. Possibly. In any case, the above watch was created by Fuse Chicken and shows off a Lightning connector, speakers on each side, a touchscreen display, a device that appears to be running some form of iOS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also looks like there’s a metal band, in black or white, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The designer has gone so far as to suggest the device will use Bluetooth 4.0 (we think that makes perfect sense, but would like to see NFC pairing), and more. Like any good smart watch, the wrist accessory will provide alerts to messages on other iOS products, too. Oddly, it seems like Siri integration isn’t included in this concept, and that’s something we’d like to see Apple offer as well.

It’s all a rumor at this point, but we think Apple has the capability to shift yet another industry if it enters the space.
