Apple’s new iOS 6.1 operating system update was immediately met with complaints about battery life and, shortly after the release, official statements from European carriers warned iPhone 4S owners not to upgrade following reports of additional bugs. Apple’s allegedly (and hopefully) already working on a fix to correct issues introduced in iOS 6.1.

iFun recently reported that Apple is already finished testing iOS 6.1.1 and that the new version will be offered over-the-air and will fix an SMS spoofing issue in addition to other errors. A beta release was already pushed out on Feb 6th, so we hope it gets through to iPhone owners as soon as possible.
