If you’re longing for a Samsung phone without the Touch Wiz interface on top of Android, then you may want to check out the Galaxy Discover. But probably not.
Samsung announced today that the Samsung Galaxy Discover will be released running a native version Ice Cream Sandwich, but that is about the only selling point sadly of this low-end phone. The handset is heading to discount carriers Net10 and Straight Talk with an 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and lacking a front-facing camera or even an ambient light sensor.
When it comes to specs, this phone is defiantly lacking, but if you’ve been itching for Samsung hardware with a native version of Android behind it, then you may still want to give it a look.
