BLINK for Windows Phone 8 Ensures You Capture the Perfect Photo

Photographing that exact right moment is tough, especially when all you’re equipped with is a smartphone. Shutter lag is your enemy, but companies have actively worked to address this. For Windows Phone 8 users, your answer is BLINK, a new rapidfire application that let’s users choose the perfect image out of a handful of missed opportunities.

Developed by Microsoft Research, the application works much like other alternatives that have been cropping up. “BLINK captures a burst of images with a single click and then allows you to select the perfect images from those that were taken with a swipe of the finger,” TechNet explains. Couldn’t be simpler.

BLINK will show up as a lens on your Windows Phone 8 device, so it’s easily accessible. It’s free, too, so you really don’t have an excuse not to try it out. Your group shots will now look that much better.
