AT&T Activates 4G LTE Network in Five Additional Markets

by Todd Haselton | February 5, 2013

We have good news if you’re an AT&T customer still without the carrier’s super fast 4G LTE coverage: AT&T announced on Tuesday that it’s activating its LTE network in five new markets, including “Northwest” Georgia; Albany, Georgia; Cecil County, Maryland; Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and Norfolk/Virginia Beach/Portsmouth, Virginia.

Let us know if you’re in the above markets and are going to be taking advantage of the faster data speeds. Right now it’s certainly a race between AT&T and Verizon for who can cover the U.S. with LTE fastest. Verizon is in the lead, but AT&T’s expansion is moving along rapidly.
