Surface Pro Showing Up in Retail Stores Ahead of Release Date

by Sean P. Aune | February 3, 2013

If you’re anxious to try out the Surface Pro for yourself, you may want to head over to your closest Best Buy, Staples or Microsoft store.

The Surface Pro doesn’t go on sale in the U.S. and Canada until Feb. 9, but a few stores have reportedly already set up demo units according to Engadget. No, you can’t walk out with one yet, but you can at least spend a little bit of hands-on time with it for yourself and see if it is something you want to take home next weekend.

Just remember, if you do pick up a 64GB version, you’ll only find 23GB of usable space.

If you don’t find a demo unit in the store nearest you, don’t be too surprised as it appears to be fairly sporadic where they are being spotted.
