Benchmarks of Six Unannounced Samsung Devices Appear Ahead of MWC

A number of upcoming handsets have shown up in the halls of GLBenchmark, including the Galaxy Fonblet 5.8 (contender for worst name ever), and a mysterious device tagged with the GT-B9150 name. Most of the devices are of the low-end variety, likely aimed for emerging markets, but that doesn’t make their arrivals any less notable.

Some of the devices appearing on GLBenchmark’s servers were present in our 2013 Roadmap, so some of the stuff here isn’t all that new. Still, it’s further confirmation of which devices are coming with what specifications. The good news is that all of the devices listed include Android 4.1.2.

The mysterious device (GT-B9150) will reportedly feature a dual-core Exynos 5250 CPU clocked at 1.7GHz, full HD (1920×1080) display and quad-core mali-T604 GPU. SamMobile notes that Samsung typically uses GT-Bxxxx as an indicator of a QWERTY handsets, making this one even more puzzling; it could be a tablet, or it could be a smartphone.

The fact that all of these devices are appearing at the same time in the month of February probably means we’ll see each one announced at MWC, or there about. We’ll see what develops in the next few weeks.
