HTC CEO Spills Beans on M7 Flagship Early

by Brandon Russell | February 1, 2013

HTC’s Peter Chou is so pumped on the company’s upcoming M7 that he felt the need to show it off—in front of thousands of people. Why wait for a scheduled event when you can flaunt your new kit early? What a tease. Chou got me very interested.

At HTC’s end-of-year party in Taipei earlier today, Chou went on stage to specifically congratulate the M7 team for their hard work. According to cnYES, Chou openly held the device out in public view, and even took the opportunity to test out the M7’s camera.

The broadcast didn’t record any closeup shots of the device, but we’re pretty sure we already know what it’s going to look like. HTC has a big announcement party planned for Feb. 19, so it won’t be long until we get an up close and personal look.
