Muramasa Rebirth for PS Vita Announced for North America

Aksys Games has announced that they will be localizing the Japanese Muramasa to the PS Vita for North American consumers. This PS Vita game is a port of the Wii’s Muramasa: The Demon Blade.

If you follow the gaming section of TechnoBuffalo, then you’ve likely seen a few articles where we’ve said that we’d love to see this Japanese game get an American localization. Well, that’s now happening.

What’s more, Aksys plans to re-localize the game entirely. That means they won’t simply be reusing the work of Ignition (the team that originally brought the Wii version internationally), but they’ll be retranslating the text on their own.

Muramasa Rebirth does not have an official release date just yet. As more comes for this game, including media and trailers, we’ll be all over it.
