BlackBerry has announced Alicia Keys as its Global Creative Director and a new project called Keep Moving.

During the BlackBerry 10 event today, it was announced that Alicia Keys would be joining the company as its Global Creative Director and heading up a new project called Keep Moving. While it isn’t clear yet what Keep Moving will be encompassing, it is at least bringing together some famous creators to collaborate with their fans on special projects using BlackBerry 10 devices.

Some examples:

  • Alicia Keys will be using a BlackBerry 10 to film city specific music videos on her tour
  • Robert Rodriguez – director of Sin City – will be collaborating on filming videos with his fans
  • Neil Gaiman – creator of the Sandman comic book series – will be releasing original writing created with his fans.

No word yet on when we can expect to see any of these results released.
