Vine is Now Available For iOS, Lets Users Easily Share Video Clips on Twitter

Vine, the video-sharing service under the Twitter umbrella, is now available for iOS. We tried it out, shot a quick video, and it’s actually pretty great. It’s dead simple to use—simply hold down your finger to capture video, that’s it—and the brevity is charming as heck. The result, as you can see, is perfect for sharing.

When we talked about Vine yesterday, we mentioned it was launching as a standalone app, rather than being integrated straight up into Twitter. Maybe the two will unite at some point, as an option right there in the Twitter app. For now, Vine is an independent app only on iOS.

I don’t normally record much video, therefore I rarely share clips on my phone. But I can honestly see myself using something like this to share with friends and family. Keep in mind that when clips are recorded, they’re not only saved to your Vine profile, they’re also saved in your device’s camera roll, so be mindful of the amount of space you have.

Give it a shot (pun intended, of course) and show us what you create.
