Terraria for Consoles Gets New Trailer and Exclusive Content

Terraria is coming to consoles, and this brand new trailer gives gamers an idea of what they can expect in terms of new content for this port from PCs.

According to the trailer above, console gamers who buy this port will be privy to stuff like new music, a new final boss, split-screen multiplayer and a new world map. Even if you’ve played Terraria in its current form, this new take should present enough originality to make it a worthwhile experience.

Of course, standing tall amongst this field of good news for console gamers is the general ire of the PC faithful. For PC gamers, Terraria is a bit of a problem. The developers haven’t updated the game to reach the level of content they once promised. And, now, console gamers are getting content the PC crowd hasn’t even seen yet.

For a game that found footing on the PC platform, this is troubling.

What do you think of the news of Terraria coming to consoles and the brand new content announced in the trailer above? The game is listed as “coming soon” for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
